Services and Pricing
Star Meadows Quilts offers a variety of quilting services, from all-over, semi-custom, and custom!
Custom Quilting: 6 cents per square inch
Customized quilting gives your quilt an extra special touch by using custom designs, motifs, and textures to highlight the beauty of your pieced quilt top. Custom quilting is often high-density quilting with an array of motifs and patterns meant to highlight your quilt piecing to its fullest potential. Ruler quilting and stich in the ditch are included in this.
Overall Design: 2-3 cents per square inch
If you aren't quite ready for a customized look that's fine! A lovely all-over design can give your quilt just the right look and feel. 2 cents per square inch is your cost for pantograph style quilting: a medium to low density overall quilting design. If you want edge to edge but a different design for the border your cost will be 3 cents per square inch.
Semi-Custom: 4 cents per square inch
Semi-Custom is great if you want an overall design over most of quilt top with just a few custom touches. Examples are custom boarders, special words/phrases incorporated into the quilt top, or just a few areas, like a center medallion, highlighted on your quilt top. Special techniques like stich-in the ditch or ruler work can also be considered semi-custom work. Density is usually medium to high density quilting.
Thread painting
Ready for something fun and adventures with an artsy look? Ask about thread painting! Whether it is just little pops of color here and there on your quilt top, or a heavily thread-painted pillow panel, thread painting brings that next level of artistry to any project.
Quotes available upon request. Please note that the minimum thread fee may be adjusted according to your project's needs.
