This beauty was sent in by a customer for me to finish. It was hand embroidered and was just in the beginning stages of being hand quilted. The original quilter passed before the quilt could be finished.  I used my domestic BrotherPQ1500SL to finish the project and hand stitched the binding.  It's always an honor to work on heirloom quilts!

Below: "Tree of Life" quilt pattern pieced and quilted by me for my in-law's 50th wedding anniversary. Each quadrant represents a different season. A special touch of the names in of their children and grandchildren in the tree made this a blast to quilt on my longarm! Soft snuggly minky backing was used.

A few pieces of what was to become a quilted coat for a customer.

Above: I had a blast mixing up some straight line ruler work with pretty free-motion feathers for my daughter's 6ths birthday quilt.  Pattern is All Roads by Angela Walters.

Below: A 60 year old blanket, gifted to the couple on their wedding, was given to me in tatters. The customer asked me to re-work the original material into a quilt for her parent's 60th anniversary. I stabilized the original pink and rose fabric to preserve it and incorporated it with complementary quilting cotton.  A sweet overall heart meander finished off this special quilt.

A few more pics of this super fun quilt that was gifted to my nephew. Pattern is Bows and Arrows by Suzy Quilts. I had a great time using a combination of ruler work and free motional quilting on the long arm.

Mariner's Compas quilt (tutorial for the pattern on Missouri Star YouTube Channel!) This baby was a blast to custom quilt!
